A draughty window is usually a hardware or seal problem, not a reason to replace the whole unit. Misting between the panes means the glass unit has failed — the frame is normally fine. We tell you honestly which one you are dealing with.
The same crews that fit our joinery handle the service calls, so a typical repair takes a single visit.
Sash catching on the frame? Draught from the window? We adjust the compression and the geometry of the hardware — the window closes easily again and stops letting cold air in. Worth doing once a year, ideally before winter.
Condensation between the panes? The sealed unit has failed. We replace just the glass unit, not the whole window — and can upgrade to a warmer triple-glazed unit where the profile allows it.
Small parts that make the difference. We replace worn seals, lockable handles, cylinders and hinges, and retrofit trickle vents and anti-burglary catches into existing windows.
Shutter stuck halfway? We replace motors, winders, straps, curtains and remotes, and reprogram PORTOS and EXALUS automation after a drive swap.
Door not closing fully, or noisy? We replace springs, cables, rollers and drives. We service sectional and roller doors — ours and other brands.
Sash hard to move? We clean and adjust the running carriages and replace hardware and threshold seals in sliding systems.
You do not have to be our customer. We adjust and repair PVC, aluminium and timber windows from any manufacturer, plus shutters and doors from other suppliers.
We use original hardware and parts — Siegenia, PORTOS, EXALUS, Somfy, NICE. After the repair the joinery works like new, with no bodged fixes.
Service is handled by the same teams that install our joinery — since 1995. A typical repair is one visit; parts are ordered after the first inspection or from photos you send.
Annual compression adjustment and hardware lubrication improve airtightness and cut heating bills. Book the whole house at once — it works out cheaper than separate call-outs.
